Strangers and Sushi

Lately ive had a run of strangers adding me to their msn. Has this ever happened to you?

I went to bed one night, and so unlike me, I left my computer on. When I came out of my room in the morning, there was a request to let me add someone to my MSN. I had NO clue who it was, so I added them, and was like "uhhh...who's this?" Seeing as I never give out that email, i'm confused about how people keep getting it. I know it sounds horrible, but I have 2 daily email addresses. One for the people in my everyday life, and the other...that one's for "randoms". LOL!!! So seriously, if this guy was a random, I would have given him the other address...but he had my primary email, which confused me....but I digress.

So he's online, and his display picture is this TOTALLY hot guy, with a built BUILT body, standing in a towel. And I had no idea who he was....this was the beginning of our conversation. We talked for a bit, trying to figure out where we knew eachother from...it came out that he comes to St. Catharines *my hometown* often because he has a few friends here....I wondered if I had met him, one drunken night and given him my email? I didnt know. I still dont know. So we talked...and laughed...and he was like "thats it...lets go out for a bite". So we went out for din, and had an awesome rest of the day together.....only thing? Is that when he came over...he's literally 5'6 or 5'7. And since i'm 5'9 and a half, its a big difference. Which makes me wonder even more how he got my email....seeing as i would have NEVER evn considered him...seeing as he's like 2-3 inches shorter than I am. I require tall men.

Anyway, he's an awesome guy....and we had a lot of fun, and we're giong to hang out when he comes to the bars in St. C.....but I still dont know where he got my email address....but these...are the days of my life.

So I come back and have my neices for the day...we hang out, and when I pick them up, i tell them we're going out for dinner, what do they want to eat? They both say "SUSHI!!!" and although I am used to this, they are still only 3 and 5. It just makes me laugh, as I have friends who still wont eat sushi. So we go for sushi. And i cant even believe that they are better with chopsticks than some adults I know. Sitting there, telling me they love Roe, and seaweed....what 3 and 5 year old do you know that likes seaweed???

ive got a crazy weekend ahead of me....so everyone make sure to get out, do something fun...it's june for fucks sake. Drink it up this weekend..it's summer time!!!

Those are some seriously cultured children! Their parents are doing something right...

Why didn't you just ask Little Hot Man how he got your email?

I'm with you on that one though--I require tall men as well but am slightly less justified in demanding them, as I am only 5'2. Then again, it doesn't matter how tall you are when you're lying down...

Everyday i have 2 or 3 new messages like that on my msn. I've tried changing my profile to private, i've tried everything. I have noooo idea how people get it. I also added someone once and asked him. He never answered me and kept asking if i spoke English so i deleted him. I've just taken to hitting the "no" button, but it is quite annoying. If you figure it out let me know.

Yrautca - Ya...i guess

Pheebs - They are cultured...love it. I asked hot man how he got my address, he didnt know either. He had NO idea.

Natalia - Ohhh...if you really want it, you would totally go out of your way. LOL

Ash - I KNOW!!! Wait until you see this guy. He's SO hot....

how can you have no idea how you got someone's email address, and why would you add the person to your msn if you didn't know who they were (I mean, him, you do it because you didn't really mean your new year's resolution).

Jennifer - these are the days of my life. If I didnt do these things, WHO else would tell you these stories??

Yuck. I'm glad they like it...no me gusta!

I have weird people trying to be added to my buddy list on MySpace. I love when I get to deny their request. :o)

I have MSN messenger and I don't think I've ever had that problem! I'm super curious. You must be on some public thing....

I agree with the height thing. I went out with a guy once who was exactly my height (5'-6") and I didn't like it.

Rawbean - I am not on any public things..at all....i have the highest level of email security, when sorting junk mail....the only public place that my email address exists, is here. Which is what I thought, but he didnt know anything about my blog. So it remains a mystery

This post was such a disappointment. Where's the drama and the craziness you usually bring us? I wanted to hear that when you met him he wasn't the guy in his profile pic, but a 57 year old transvestite midget with a wooden leg who tried to cop a feel on you right in the street.

Your neices are totally cultured or something. I have NEVER known a child to even try sushi.
It blows me away.

Sushi sounds good right now . . .

I think he just didn't want to admit to having found your email addy written on the wall in the men's restroom.

Princess Pessimism said...

Berly - Sushi is always a good idea.

Trib - LOL!!! My email address was written on the wall? Not my number? What a technoligocal age we're in...LOL!!!

You're crazy. I can't believe you went out for dinner with the strange guy on your MSN. Luckily he wasn't a Bob-cheesebreath-ankleslasher.

I've never met kids who like sushi before (though I have met some who can use chop sticks like pros). I guess this all proves my point that we shouldn't just let kids eat crap like pizza and chicken nuggets -- they really will eat anything if you start them on it young.

Meeting random guys fromt he internet. Sounds dangerous - don't mean slop. If he's 5'6" he probably isn't packing much downstairs.

Princess Pessimism said...

Trib - It is indeed.

Bleph - Ya, I dont know, we obviously met somewhere, I just dont know where.

Scott - Where did you go in Windsor?? What bars?

Slop - Uhh...no. I have really nice teeth, so i'm not going to look for a guy with piano teeth, just to make sure my kids end up with a balance.
and I have long hair, so I wont look for a balding guy...etc etc etc...

S.Subs - TOO TRUE...my neices love thai, and chinese, japanese, anything cultural.....

Ben - :) Uhh....im keeping my mouth shut on that one.
