As a child, I loved this show, and of course am jacked about the movie, that is now not being released until almost 2009.
When I was a kid, every house that I ever went to, I always checked the basement for Fraggle Holes. If I have been to your house, I have looked. Trust me. I knew it was a show...but a part of me so wanted it to be real, that I always checked...just in case.
One time, I was at someone's house, and they had a small hole in one of the walls...i was so excited, and asked them about it, not implying it might have been a fraggle hole, because that would have been ridiculous...but they proceeded to inform me that it was a crack in the foundation, and that they dug out all the loose concrete.
I was devastated.

there is a woman in town here that looks exactly like the Queen Gorg in Fraggle rock. she has been around for ever. when i was young she used to scare the crap out of me.

Miss Ash - YES, season 1, 2 and 3 I think, but theres much more singing than i remember.

Remember that show The Littles? I LOVED that one too. They used human stuff as furniture and their own house hold items - so cool. Or did you ever have Charmkins?? I don't know what the fascination is with things that are hidden or wee. But I loved it.
Fraggle Rock seasons 1 & 2 are out on DVD... I have them. Loove all things Muppety.

Speaking of people that look like the Queen Gorg... Anyone here watch Coronation Street? Cilla looks just like Queen Gorg, and she's a major jerkface too.
Seriously, have you watched this show lately (I mean on DVD and whatnot)? So not as good as we remembered. Sigh...

I never really watched fraggles. Don't know why, it was on when I was young, just wasn't on my radar. Though I remember reading a freinds college thesis which was all about the politics of the fraggles. How the whole show was a treatise on capatalism (specifically a laise faire society - ie. the fraggles) vs. communism (the Dozzers). I don't remember much, just that I was fascinated with this insane interpratiation.
Childhood... Such a carefree and simple world. By biggest problem was hiding my report card from mom.
Im still trying to figure out new ways...
I have yet to rent the DVD. I Have yet to see an episode. But I have said before I love the song.
