Boozemas 2005

I'm home for the holidays. MY exams rocked, and I totally kicked ass this semester. I am almost CERTAIN I got straight A's....Even the one grade that was really shitty, I worked super hard in the class, aced the final, and got a B+ on an assignment. So, i'm thinking that ive done realatively well this semester.

I came home two and a half ago, and when I tell you that my family is driving me crazy already....believe me.

Me and my grandparents took my neices to see these lights in Niagara falls, they're rediculously stupid, but if you're 3 and 4 years old, they're pretty exciting. Then we went out to eat, where my grandfather proceeds to pour maple syrup on my neices french fries...and no, he's not losing it. Although somtimes I wonder....But the junk food is likely the reason that my 4 year old neice needed a root canal. Ugh. Too much junk. So I put my foot down, and said no dessert.

I drank ALL day yesterday. I was so hammered by 10pm, I went to bed. I couldnt drive anywhere...I drank for 12 hours, and baked christmas cookies. Today, when I woke up at 9am, to ice them a million and 4 people came over, and I started drinking again at 10:30am. LOL!!!!

I havent drank since my birthday really, so I figure i have a lot of making up to do still.

Happy holidays to all of you out there who might stumble across this blog...and to my loving regulars....you know I adore you.

Awww. We adore you too. I'm so excited you did well on your finals!! Kick ass!

Everyone is annoying me today. I spent most of my Christmas Eve in the emergency room thanks to all the swelling and pain in my throat and sudden congestion in my head. I was worried that the infection in my jaw had migrated upwards. Fortunately it's not that. Instead, the swelling IS from my infection but the congestion is from an upper respitory infection on top of everything. Fun. More antibiotics and decongestants and Lortab for pain. Merry freakin' Christmas.

LINNY - You were in emerg? That's no fun...you should come to Canada, where those hospital visits are free. =)

So far its just me, mum and dad, but sister and brother in law and 2 neices are coming over VERY soon....i'm sure i'll get annoyed immediately after they arrive. LOL

What are you doing reading blogs on Christmas anyway...you're so dedicated!

Good to hear about you exams. Your family sounds cool that they are letting you binge drink like that.

And I am sure if I ever end up in Canada I would be absolutely thrilled to go to Niagara falls. It may be nothing to you since you must have seen it so many times but to me it will be one of the more memorable sights. Have a good one. Dont forget to shower.

I visited Niagra Falls once. The Canadian side is prettier.

Congrats on the grades. Do something nice for yourself to celebrate.

Your Boozemas sounds great! I was with my in-laws who don't believe in drinking and -- trust me -- when I'm with my in-laws is when I need a drink the most!

Listening to your stories about Niagra Falls reminds me that I really need to go back there sometime. I went once as a kid and I'm afraid to say I don't remember it very well. I vaguely remember going on a "Duck Tour" -- you know, those ambhibias (sp?) boats/cars -- and I think that it was fun for a 9-year-old. And, I have a picture of me and my little sis pretending to go over the falls in a barrel. Good times. Have fun!

Deb - Oh god...i've been drinking everyday since I got home!

Sylvana - You're absolutely right, the Canadian side is WAY better. The American side just has that railing, Canada has turned it into a gigantic attraction.

S.Subs - Come to Niagara For new years then!!! You'll love it....especially since you havent been in years!
