Actually, on campus, I call the computer center Compton....always have. Computer Center was affectionaltely referred to as "computer town" when I got my undergrad, and shortened "Compton"...I digress.
Of course, I'm scrambling to get my assignments done, and sitting in Compton....someone smells SO foul sitting somewhere around me, that it's making my nose hurt, and my eyes water. I dont know who it is, as there are 9 people sitting in my direct vacinity, but let me tell you....it HURTS me. And NO, it isnt me...I checked.
WHY dont people feel that hygiene is a necessity??
UPDATE UPDATE: I am sitting in the computer center again, and the man sitting across from me just picked his nose and ate it....and as I stared with jaw on the floor, he noticed me watching and pulled his snot finger out of his mouth. GROSS

IT's MEEE! I'm the BIG STINKER!
Ewww . . . I hate being around smelly people.
I forgot to put on deodorant yesterday...I realized it at the end of the day. Fortunately I wasn't smelly thank god...but I was paranoid that the smell I kept getting a whiff of was me. It wasn't...it was a smelly lady in our office.
Belph - You always were hunnie....LOL J/K
Berly - Me too. It makes me gag, and when it makes my eyes water, it's BAD!!!
Linny - Let your story be a cautionary tale.
Hernesto - I CANT believe you said "dot not feather"....Did I ever post my story about that? I dont think that I did. But I CANT believe you said that. I have a story in which someone says the exact same thing, and i'd never heard it before...wierd. An no, all of the people surrounding me when I posted that were caucasion. I actually thought of you when I made that post. I knew you'd come back with something about ethnicity.
Hernesto again - you're disgusting.
I could have sworn you posted a blog about the dot/feather appalling thing that man said to you but i could be wrong.
As for the hungry nose picker LOL I have a client that also likes to munch on his own mucus when he knows i am watching behind a two way mirror ughhh.
I want to go into my Thursday night class ahead of time and write a notice on the board to the various stinkers in the class to please bathe. Alas today is the final class, so I've survived. That's the last time I take a class full of white people, PU.
maybe it was him...you never know
Awwww I feel for you. I remember what it was like. Some people just forget there are showers. Believe me, some of my students shouldn't be allowed in class...there should be a hygene check. Ewww.

Miss Ash - You may be right. I might have a long time ago...but I cant recall....and to go through all of my old blogs would take too long and its exam time. If I indeed did post that story, Hernesto has quite the memory.
Jenny - INDEED. armpits, breath, feet...UGH. One of the kids I worked with in MA, their feet smelled SO bad, I could smell them through their shoes.
PX - Might have been, but he was here a lot later than I posted initially.
Natalia - LOL. Smell detectors....
Some people really make a special effort in their lack of cleanliness. When we were doing elementary school health screenings there were a lot of filthy, smelly children. I don't think I'll be going into pediatrics. In SA where proper cleaning facilities are harder to come by, I understood, but not here.
Trib - Little kids are different. A 6 year old would never bathe if their parents didnt make them. I dont blame the child. In that instance, I blame the parent.
However, when you get to university, regardless of what year you are in, you no longer have your parents reminding you to shower on a regualr basis, brush your teeth, and not pick your nose and eat it.
Have people never heard of a Kleenex? Gross!
S.Subs - Guess not. LOL
