Gummi Bears and Jesus

A day ive truely waited for, for like 18 years.....Gummi Bears has been released on DVD. I know we have discussed awesome 80's cartoons a million times here in the past, but this one was my favorite, and I went out and bought it for myself. I watched the first episode last night, and it was just as good as I remember...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As for the Jesus Clock. The resident who gave it to me was kicked out of our shelter for threatening behavior....and when its a crisis house for abused women and children, that kind of stuff is really something that isnt tolerated. It was her like 3rd chance to change her attitude...but she refused...But I digress.
I dont have to give the Jesus Clock back, and was thinking of doing a little Pessimism Inc© Blogger Giveaway......maybe. I told Miss Ash that I was thinking of doing this, and she laughed and said that it was a great idea....Maybe thats just us. We thought it was hilarious....Who thinks what?
Oh..and Ash. If no one wants it....you get to have it. :o)
"Gummi Bears bouncing here and there and everywhere"
No, no thank you. I'm not in need of a Jesus clock. However, as i said, you should give it to Jen as one of her gifts to give away at the stag and doe :)
I was never able to get into the Gummi Bears...though, for reasons I don't understand, I do remember their theme song by heart.
The GAYEST cartoon I watched as a kid was...sigh...Jem and the Holograms. ;)
Jem...Jem is my name. I used to love Pizazz. Always the bad girl in me.
Miss Ash - AHHH HAHAHA. I FORGOT you said that. Its brilliant. However, I sort of came up with another idea for that clock.
Natalia - MY life is always about the random stuff....And Jetta was my favorite. I still have the doll.
Steve - I loved that show. And Jem was also a great cartoon.
I love Jem. I have the first two seasons on DVD (they had season 3 part 1 out, but it disappeared before I could get it).
And I have a bunch of dolls, all purchased in my adulthood. My mom sold my childhood Jem dolls at a garage sale, so I had to collect all over again.
..Does the Jesus clock bare any resemblence to the Flavor Flave clock???
Bleph - I believe they have a jem doll at Retro fun, on cumberland. I know they have barbie and the rockers. I was positive that they did have an old jem doll too. If you were still collecting.
Scott - I posted the picture a while ago, on my b-day wrapup post. Go check it out there.
man, I thought I was hip to all the 80's cartoons. But Gummi bears is one I just don't remember.
I think I'm still saving up money for the danger mouse (the 80's british cartoon , not the modern DJ) DVD set.
Okay...so I bought my Gummi Bears DVD today and watched the first episode tonight. It was so GREAT. Just as good as I remember. Now to buy She-ra.
I wonder if they'll put the Smurfs out on DVD...I hope so.
Amichai - COME ON...you dont know them? They're amazing. You have to watch.
Linny - I was wondering the EXACT same thing today about the smurfs.
Gummi Bears was a great show. One thing I always wondered was whether or not the bears butts got sore from all that bouncing. Watch them bounce in slo-mo. They're bouncin' on their butts.
As for the request for Smurfs. I've seen it available in French only so far. There's been no serious talk about an english language release that I've heard yet.
