Day 1 of the list

Its day 1 of my list. and i ALMOST ate a cookie today...becuase I forgot, and as my fingertips were a quarter inch away, something inside my head screamed at me, and i stopped just in time. Hold all applause to the end.

I am ALSO guy free as of today....I kicked out all the bad ones who were pissing me off, and told off all the ones who were dragging their feet in noncommital. This was really hard. I sorta like having the randoms around, but I figured if I really want to take some time to myself to figure out what I want, then this is the way it has to be. Some of them called me some CHOICE words, and there was a dramatic exchange with one of them, but its done. And im that much better off. I think my goal for the rest of 2010 is to determine whether or not there are REALLY any nice guys out there. Like sincerely nice - not just the kind of nice they have to be to get you to have sex with them.

Maybe my standards of people are too high - is it too much to ask to really expect to be treated the same way that you treat people?

Good work staying away from that cookie! Eating healthy is hard 'cuz there is always so much damned food around!

Lol I posted before I was done... As for the guys, I think it's so wise to get rid of the draggy non-commital ones. I used to question if there were any nice ones, but I did meet a super sweet and sincere one this year, and trust me, I've gone through some duds. So yah it can happen, but you want to make sure you are available for nice ones!

Nice guys do exist. I used to be one. They are the guys who you complain too about the guys you actually date.

Oh cookies!
I want one right now. Thanks.

I think the no guys part of your list is the best.

Your doing great! I know it.

What if a nice guy offers you a cookie?

Christielli - I think thats the problem...that i dont make myself available to the nice ones, or they're too chicken to talk to me. LOL!! (can i still blame them, if I take part of the responsibility???)

Miss A - Oh and they were the yummy ones from costco.

WIGSF - you USED to be one? Id be intersted in hearing more about that. And the hardest one to get rid of, was the one that I used to talk to about the guys I was dating. That guy asked me out and i gave it a shot, and he turned out to be the worst one becuase he convinced me that he was one of the good ones - and i totally fell for it. If a nice guy offered me a cookie, i'd take it.

Berly - Thanks hun! I think the no guys part of my list is the best too.

Ooh, I've also been fooled by one who masqueraded as a nice one and was my friend but in reality was a complete villian! And like you, I had a hard time figuring it out 'cuz I was so convinced he was "nice". I'd rather a guy who owns his douchebaggery than covers it up. At least you know!

Always loved Miss Ash's list postings, so this seems like a fine idea. But how could not include the exchange - choice words or not - when you kicked these guys to the curb? Ha. That sounds like a post unto itself.
