Blogger Confessional© Musical Melodies and Homes on Wheels

I dont remember everything that happened this week. Im going to be perfectly honest.

- I went hiking with my neices, and they cried the entire time....They saw spiders, they screamed. They saw bees, they hid. They thought we were lost, they wanted to throw up. It was entertaining enough that I would take them again...if I could get them to go without crying.

- Even though I have ever played poker 4 times in my entire life, I'dlike to announce, that I won a game. I am the greatest champion of the world!!! I played with 4 people who kick ass at poker. And I'd like to say that I am undeniably impressed with myself.

- I wish that I had someone with me all week, everywhere I went to verify that this actually happened, but every single building I went into this week, that had music over the PA system, had the song Downtown, playing. I was going to blog about it, but forgot, until I was watching Big Brother tonight, and there was a commercial, with the song Downtown, playing in the background. Quel Surpise!! I think, from Sunday to Sunday, I heard this song, about 35 times....I wish I was joking.

- I got gas in my car today, and infront of me, was a trailer home, as big as a tour bus. It was gigantic...so the guy gassing his monstrosity up, noticed me looking at it, and said "Its a big on eh?"....I laughed and said that it was, and that I didnt know mobile homes were made that big. I said that i'd never even seen one this close before. And at that, he called his wife over, and honestly said "Bring this youngin inside..she wants a tour". I didnt want a tour, but I was definitely not going to say no to taking a peek. It was a trailer on wheels...it was huge inside, and actually, If I was ever forced to have to be in one of those for a long period of time, I figured it wouldnt be so bad...as long as you had someone else to hang out with, besides the driver.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

**UPDATE: My ex, from TEN years ago, called me just at 9pm tonight, and said that he misses me, and wants to be with me. After 10 years...i am left sitting here, with too many thoughts swirling.

After 10 years? What is up with that? That is insane. Like really crazy.

Motor Homes... i could not imagine what that gas bill was like.

Who's the ex? Adam called me once after 4 years had passed and i thought that was a little odd.

Wow, ten years... you must be soul mates... or something.

I can't believe you're in disbelief that I met a blogger yet you're getting into strangers vehicles. They could have pulled away with you in the truck. Next thing you know you're the next Elizabeth Smart.

As for the boyfriend...that is so damn typical. Men don't know what the hell they want!

And finally, the downtown story was hilarious. Awhh...

Interesting week. I don't even remember the last time I heard the song "Downtown." Also, I love how the RV guy said "eh" -- so Canadian =)

Hernesto - He was there gassing up the entire time that I was there, and before that. I cringe at the thought of how much it would cost. I LOVE Malcolm McDowell..So hot...its that sexy side smile, and blue eyes...

Scott, Ash, Trib - I'm actually going to write another blog about this topic in a couple of days.

Rawbean - YES. I see your point, and agree with you, because I had not thought of that..until you mentioned it.

Sexy - Yup...we do say Eh here..but in the states, you guys say "huh" instead of eh. "Thats cool Eh?" "Thats cool huh?" I laughed at that when I lived there.

I would never take my young nieces on such a tough hike. You are supposed to take care of them not scare them.

As for your ex calling you up:

If you are serious, then start something with him without sex for the first few weeks. You will find out in 3 days tops whether he is serious or not.

If you are not serious, shag him a few times and you both will be over it.

Take him back - you could get a big trailer and hang out!

Two thoughts: The recurring Downtown thing is a sign from the universe about something. Think about it.

The ex- from 10 years ago calling out of a nowhere is a nutjob for doing that. Something is going on in his life that caused him to do that. Stay away if you can. It will only be a mess.

I'd be hesitant to go anywhere where anyone uses the term "young'un".

Also, I have to admit when I first read that you got gas in your car I thought you meant you were having digestive problems while driving, and for some reason (yes I love the fart jokes) I thought that would have been funnier.

And the ten year old ex, well that is a bit peculiar. I know people (as in one couple) that have gotten back together after five years and then got married, but ten years is much longer, especially if you were still a (instert numeral here)-teen year old when you broke up. I'd be wary but I'd probably speak to him again, just out of sheer curiosity.
